Situations (Jean X Reader Modern!AU) [Day 1]

                               ~ starting out ~

Day 1: Water.

"And Jean's coming over for two weeks. --" You looked at your big brother with a look of shock and horror.

"Jean?! Here?! For two weeks?! In our house?!" Your face turned bright red, your brother, Marco always knew you had a crush on his best friend Jean Kirschtien. Seemingly ignoring your rant he continued.

"..And you know how Jean is and I don't want you doi--" He was cut off by your finger on his lips, your face flushed at what he was about to imply you would do with Jean.

"Alright alright Marco, I don't see what you're so worried about, no doubt I'll stay in my room." You shrugged, smiling.

"But [First] Don't you wanna spend time with big brother?" He said, sounding slightly offended, but by his smile you could tell he was joking, earning a gentle punch on the arm from you, which he winced from mockingly.

"B-But I like my room!" You whined, you were both laughing as it went to being a full blown play fight. Ending with you both falling off the couch and him straddling you. 

"Marco! Get off!" You shouted through laughter. He shook his head. 

"Not until you say you're gonna spend time with me!" He whined playfully, still laughing.

That was when Jean walked through the door, but through all the laughter, neither of you heard the door, Jean stood in the doorway observing you two, very amused.

"A-Alright alright fine! I'll stay down here with you!" You laughed.

"Promise...?" He asked in a sing song voice.

"I promise! Now get off!" You giggled as he nodded triumphantly and got off you, you rolled out of the way and stood up, to find an extremely amused Jean leaning in the doorway. "O-Oh, h-hey h-how l-long h-have y-you been here, J-Jean...?" You asked sheepishly, cheeks tinged pink. 

"Long enough." Jean replied walking over closing the door behind him. You looked at Marco, then ran upstairs as fast as you could. 

"[First]! You promised!" Marco shouted up the stairs.

"I'M JUST GETTING CHANGED JESUS!" You shouted back. Since you were in a shirt and panties (what you wore for bed) you wanted to get changed, since Jean was there. You looked at your phone and saw the text you got from Eren.

Hey [Nickname]! 

Just wondering if you wanted to come over for a water fight with me and Armin? Marco can come to if he wants.

-Eren.

Chuckling you texted back. 

Oh, hey Eren!

I'd love to come! But Jean's round at our's for two weeks so if Marco's coming, he will too, is that alright?

-[First]

Not even a minute later you got a reply.

That's fine, I got enough pistols...I think...Lemme check.

You giggled at his reply and proceeded to get changed.


Pulling off your pants and top, you put your [Favorite/Color] bikini on, then you put on some denim shorts and a black tank-top with one sleeve hanging off your shoulder and the other a small strap at your collarbone with a symbol called "The Wings Of Freedom" from your's and Eren's favorite anime, "Shingeki no Kyojin" on the back. Brushing your hair to get out the awful bed head you had, you figured you were ready and walked downstairs to where Marco and Jean were. "I'm back. You really think I'd break a promise to you, brother dearest?" You asked sarcastically, earning a laugh from the both of them, you then hugged Marco in a 'sorry for scaring you' sort of way. "So, what are we doing exactly, big brother?" You asked, smiling up at the taller boys, hands on your hips. 

"Well Jean and I were gonna play on the Xbox for a bit, then sit in and watch movies for the night." Marco answered you, you laughed.

"Ah typical Marco, always playing on his Xbox." You giggled. "Eren was wondering if I could go to over to his and hang with him and Armin, so I guess I'll be back later then."

"Marco, why don't we go to?" Jean nudged your brother; who gave a knowing smile. 

"I'd love to, you're alright with that, right [NickName]?" Marco ruffled your hair, to which your hand flew up to quickly sort it.

"Yeah totally, but I hope you two are alright getting wet." You winked then got out your phone to tell Eren you'd be there soon, then you started walking down the street, leaving the boys behind, though they quickly followed. Your phone then buzzed.

Alright, I got enough pistols.


You chuckled at the text you got then turned to the boys. "Okay, Eren's got enough water-guns for us all so that won't be a problem." You grinned. 'Today's gonna be fun.' You thought excitedly. 
~~intermission~~
By now the boys were on either side of you, you got to Eren's HUGE house and heard the two boys in the back, walking around you unlocked the gate and walked in, to which you were met with a hug from Eren and a wave from Armin. "Hey, where's Mikasa today, Eren?" You asked, the lack of the black-haired girl was almost astonishing since they hardly ever left each other's side's.

"Oh she's out with Annie and the others." Eren answered, to which you gave a shrug. "Hey Marco, Jean, not seen you two in a while." Eren greeted the two as he closed the gate behind you.

"Hey Eren." They both replied, Marco with a smile, Jean with his usual expression, to which you giggled at.

"So, where are these guns? I can't wait to start!" You grinned. Armin walked over and gave you, Jean and Marco a gun each then you got in to positions around the backyard and waited for the signal to start the game, Eren had a pool in his backyard, that may be an advantage.

The game started and you immediately soaked Armin causing him to have to take his shirt off just to wring it out, sure, he did shoot you back, but not nearly as much as you shot him, then ran off to find your next victim, who was obviously your brother, who did get your hair significantly wet, which he knew you hated, but you had managed to get his shirt so wet, he had to take it off to avoid it sticking. You were too busy looking for someone to shoot when you heard what sounded like a war cry then were soaked literally from head to toe.

"EREN!" You shouted out then in a swift movement, spun around and shot him in the chest, causing his shirt the same fate as Marco's. "Just one more person.." You looked around until you spotted the copper-haired boy getting closer, out of instinct, you moved to the side as he went flying straight in the pool. You burst out laughing until somethi-- someone pushed you in the pool. "Marco!" You shouted, scrambling to get out of the pool and get your soaked over layer off you, Jean had just finished taking off his shirt.

"You better have a bikini on or something [First]." Marco looked at you, to which you nodded your head in response and took off your shorts and shirt, you then looked at Marco and a devilish grin plastered itself to your face. "Oh shit.." Marco mumbled then jumped in to the pool in front of him, to which you followed suit and received a splash in the face.

You shook your head and looked at the other boys who stood at the pool edge amused. "You comin' in guys?" You asked, smiling sweetly as Armin and Jean got in. "Wait where'd Eren go..?" You asked, to which the others shrugged. 

"CANNONBALL!" Came a loud shout from Eren as you four scrambled out of the way, you all got splashed in the face by the impact Eren made with the water, but you laughed it off.

"Baka!" You punched his arm lightly. "You scared me!"

He held his arm while trying to stifle a laugh. "What, did you think a titan got me?" He teased.

"Course not, you'd be screaming like a little girl if one did!" You laughed, pulling yourself up on to one of his inflatable rafts, closing your eyes and slowly dozing off.

"Hey Eren, what time is it?" Marco spoke up, causing you to wake up startled, and fall off the raft in the process, only to be caught by a pair of strong, firm arms, causing you to blush, looking up you saw Jean smirking down at you as he dunked you under the water. 

"I think it's about--" Eren started.

"JEAN!" You shouted as you came back up from under the water, starting a dunking match with the boy. 

"It's about half 4 now." Armin finished for Eren. You and Jean stopped at hearing the time.

"Oh! We better be off now, thanks for the fun day Eren!" You, Marco and Jean said in unison, though yours was in a slightly giddier tone. You picked up your clothes which Eren had put in the drier and looked at Eren, who nodded then you rushed to his bathroom to change, coming back in your clothes you smiled and gave Eren and Armin a hug goodbye then walked with your brother and Jean.

On the way out you saw Dr. Jaeger pull up and you sent a smile and wave his way, he nodded at you with a tip of his hat then you proceeded to walk back to your brother's house.

~*timeskip of timeskip-ness!*~

"Puhhleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeee!" You begged your brother to order pizza for tonight, he gave in after about ten minutes of your begging and proceeded to ring the pizza company, you quickly went upstairs to get into your favourite footsie pajamas and bumped in to a shirtless Jean on your way downstairs, he had the pizzas in his hand. "S-Sorry!" You muttered face flushed with a lovely crimson color as you made your way to the Living room. Jean followed shortly after setting the pizzas down, sending a smirk your way, you both waited for Marco to return.

Chewing on a slice of Pizza the door opened and revealed Marco standing with about 28 movies in hand. "Two for every night!" He grinned excitedly, you giggled and Jean smiled. "I thought we could watch this one tonight?" He smiled sheepishly holding up [fav/movie] you squealed in delight and nodded eagerly, Jean looked at you amused and nodded. Marco knelt down and put the DVD in the player, proceeding to go upstairs and get changed.

Once the movie was over, Marco ordered another Pizza and put in Jean's choice of movie, which was Secretariat.

When it was finished you stood up and stretched with a yawn. You gave Marco a kiss on the cheek to say goodnight and Jean looked at you, tapping his cheek, you rolled your eyes and gave him one too before proceeding upstairs with a giant blush spread across your cheeks.

"Two weeks with your crush huh? [Name] you got it cut out for you..." You said before falling asleep.

Unbeknownst to you, Jean was stood outside your room, listening to what you said, a small blush formed over his cheeks, before he hurried to bed quickly.
